3D Design System
Maxomedia aimed to refresh its visual identity to better reflect its user-centered philosophy, which emphasizes supporting clients throughout their entire customer journey. To meet this goal, I led the development of a new design system that visually captured this focus, incorporating engaging, lifelike 3D models. The design system would serve as a foundational framework for Maxomedia’s brand, enhancing consistency and making their approach to client engagement more visually impactful.
Seeking a metaphor to represent the journey, I introduced the concept of a pinball machine—a playful, dynamic image that aligns with the interactive and exploratory nature of the client experience. This theme was incorporated into key visuals, from the website to presentation assets and stationery, establishing a cohesive and engaging brand language. Additionally, I developed supplementary 3D elements to reinforce this identity across a range of digital and print mediums, ensuring a consistent and memorable brand presence.
Using Figma, I crafted the page layouts with a user-centered focus, arranging content to guide users seamlessly through Maxomedia’s narrative. I then moved into Blender for the complex 3D modeling of design system elements, creating animations that brought the brand’s imagery to life. To ensure flawless performance across all screens, I optimized rendered frames in Adobe Premiere Pro, maintaining visual quality without sacrificing load time.
This forward-looking design system included provisions for future updates, such as an interactive pinball header planned for a later phase.
To experience the results and explore the journey concept firsthand, I invite you to view the the Parkour Principle, an immersive representation of Maxomedia’s approach to client engagement and brand innovation.
